So here I am, after escaping the winter of Colorado getting my bronze on in sunny California. Got in today for a nice two week block of training. Got out for a few hours this afternoon, and an is it different than Colorado. Lots of fast cars and traffic, but really good roads with lots of shoulder space, and some warm weather, so no complaints! I did run into a few peculiar folks today: I was asked how to find the interstate by a couple of plumbers driving around on one of the one way back roads/bike path, Had to dodge a man flying his kite directly across the bike path and I watched in wonder as some lady apparently got hungry on her afternoon run and stopped right in front of me leaned over grabbed a bunch of berries out of tree and gobbled them up. Some interesting people out here. Now its time for some serious training for me!
